Timesheet Calculator Online – Track Work Hours & Pay

Advanced Timesheet Calculator

Work Entry 1

The Timesheet Calculator helps you log work hours across multiple days, calculate the split between regular and overtime hours, and work out total earnings based on your pay rates. Whether you are a freelancer invoicing a client, an employee verifying your payslip, or a manager reviewing team hours, this tool gives you an accurate, detailed breakdown in seconds — no spreadsheet required.

How to Use the Timesheet Calculator

Follow these steps to calculate your total hours and pay:

  1. Add a work entry — For each day worked, enter the date, start time, end time, and break duration in minutes. Break time is optional; leave it blank or set it to zero if there was no break.
  2. Add more entries (optional) — Click “Add Another Entry” to log additional workdays. Use “Remove Entry” to delete any entry you no longer need.
  3. Set your overtime method — Choose between “Daily Threshold” (overtime kicks in after a set number of hours per day) or “Weekly Threshold” (overtime is calculated once total weekly hours exceed a set limit).
  4. Enter your threshold — Input the number of hours after which overtime applies, such as 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.
  5. Enter pay rates (optional) — Input your regular hourly rate and overtime rate to calculate total earnings. Leave both at zero if you only need hour totals.
  6. Calculate — Click “Calculate Timesheet” to generate your results.
  7. Review your results — A summary card shows total hours worked along with the regular and overtime split. A detailed breakdown table lists every entry with its individual hours, including any overtime applied.
  8. Reset — Click “Reset” to clear all entries and settings and start a fresh calculation.

Why Use This Calculator?

Multiple entry support — Log as many workdays as needed in a single calculation. Add or remove entries freely to build out a full week or pay period at once.

Flexible overtime calculation — Choose whether overtime is calculated on a daily or weekly basis, and set the exact threshold that applies to your situation. The calculator handles the split automatically.

Optional pay calculation — Enter your regular and overtime hourly rates to instantly see total earnings alongside your hour breakdown. Leave rates blank if you only need the time totals.

Break time deduction — Account for unpaid breaks by entering break duration in minutes for each entry. The calculator deducts this from the total hours worked for that day.

Clear, detailed output — Results include both a headline summary and a full per-entry table, making it easy to review individual days as well as the overall totals.

Free and accessible — Works directly in your browser on any device with no login, download, or payment required.
