Formula Used
The required final exam score is calculated as:
Required Score = (Desired Grade − Current Grade × (1 − Final Weight)) ÷ Final Weight
The final course grade, once you have your exam score, is calculated as:
Final Grade = (Current Grade × (1 − Final Weight)) + (Exam Score × Final Weight)
All values are expressed as percentages.

- Enter the final exam weight — Type the percentage of your overall course grade that the final exam accounts for, for example 30 or 40.
